Martyn developed his passion and knowledge of garden design working in the Cotswolds, Vale of Evesham and the beautiful grounds of Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire.
He has achieved an RHS Silver-Gilt for the ‘The Bees Knees’ supporting the Bumblebee Conservation Trust at the RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2015; and an RHS Silver medal for ‘The Journey’ supporting The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund at the RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2014. He also won a gold medal at the 2017 RHS Hampton Court Flower Show.
His garden designs range from a traditional English cottage garden to a more contemporary minimalist garden and many styles between. For those with busy lives, he aims to create spaces with a suitable level of maintenance and is keen to minimise our environmental impact and to encourage opportunities to support and encourage wildlife.
Martyn seeks to use innovative, responsibly-sourced landscaping and gardening materials where available.
He has previously contributed to our One Year Garden Design Course as a visiting lecturer and we look forward to welcoming Martyn back to the school.
