Sarah Lowe
Sarah's interest in gardens, planting and design has stemmed from her upbringing in rural Wales. After completing her art foundation course she went on to study ceramics in the Falmouth School of Art and Design.
After graduating Sarah worked professionally as a ceramicist in London for many years. In 2013 she moved with her husband and two children to the Cotswolds where they are restoring a grade 2 listed house and garden.
Sarah graduated from The Cotswold Gardening School with a Commendation and as top student from the One Year Garden Design Course and she has also studied on The One Year Creative and Practical Planting Course.
As a highly skilled artist he has undertaken client garden design work and also been commissioned by other garden designers to produce illustrations of their design work.
Sarah’s amazing sketchbooks have to be seen to be believed and she has a highly developed colour sense and ability for the creative process
Bringing together her passions for gardens, art and design she now enjoys working from a shepherds hut overlooking the Stroud valleys, undertaking private commissions for garden designs as well as illustrations for fellow garden designers..
We have invited Sarah to come back and teach with us and she is a visiting lecturer on the Ten Week Garden Design and the Ten Week Planting Design Courses.
Sarah will be a visiting lecturer on next year’s One Year Creative and Practical Planting Course and we also hope to announce some exciting day courses with Sarah soon.
